Teen Course Information

So, you want to learn how to drive? The time is right and now you are ready. But, who? Who is going to make this the most fun, educational, rewarding experience it can be? 1-2-3 Driving School is the place to start. Why? 1-2-3 Driving School is a state certified driving school with over 10 years of experience and literally thousands of successful students on the road. We have developed training techniques, unique to us, that can take everyone from the absolute beginner to the more experienced driver, to their highest, most confident level. This confidence is absolutely invaluable. It is the foundation for the student to feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel of a car. With this confidence the student becomes the cautious decision maker that driving demands. Imagine that feeling of getting behind the wheel of the car and having that sense of safety. You will learn that if you simply follow the driving systems that we teach, driving is a safe and rewarding experience. This is where 1-2-3 Driving School wants to take you.

What does this learning process involve? Students under the age of 18 must complete 32 hours of classroom training, 7 hours of driving lessons and 7 hours of what the state calls in-car observation. In order for a student to begin the driving portion of driver education the student must first acquire a learner’s permit also known as an instruction permit. The 32 hours of classroom training prepares students for success on the written test associated with obtaining their learner’s permit. Students will also master how to interpret intersections, how to respond to skids, the details of auto insurance, the consequences of drinking and driving, how the car works, how to parallel park and much more.┬áThat was just a short list of the critical information that we cover in the classroom before a student is faced with these complexities on the road. Join us in one of our scheduled classes and watch your knowledge, confidence and safety grow.
